Rotherham's defeat to Birmingham in numbers

Rotherham suffered a damaging defeat to Birmingham on Saturday after a performance that Steve Evans described as “disgusting”.

Here is that loss dissected into numbers and it does not make pretty reading.

1 - The number of home games the Millers have won on a Saturday this season.

2 - The number of shots on target by the hosts, compared to eight for Birmingham.

2 - The number of games since skipper Craig Morgan was booked, his second-best run of the season.
Steve Evans did not mince his words after Saturday's woeful home loss
2 - The number of points from four games against teams starting below the Millers in the table (Bolton, Fulham, Brighton, Birmingham).

3 - The number of points needed from the home game with Blackpool next week.

3 - The number of league defeats so far this season by a single-goal margin.

4 - The number of home defeats so far this season, already more than all of last season.

5 - The number of games from the last seven where Anthony Wordsworth has not even made the matchday squad.

6 - The number of games without a win for the Millers.

9 - The number of shots off target by the hosts, compared to Blues’ 15.

17 - The number of Millers debuts handed to players this season, with Emmanuel Ledesma the latest recruit.

49 - The number of years since the Millers were last beaten at home to Birmingham, stretching back to 1965.

50 - The number of league appearances for the Millers made by goalkeeper Adam Collin, who was certainly kept busy in his landmark game.

402 - The number of minutes since the Millers last scored, way back at Brighton on 25 October.

2,589 - The number of Birmingham fans who packed out the away end at New York and created a great atmosphere.
