“It gives me a chance to play first team football instead of playing for the Everton U21 squad.
“I am looking forward to playing in League One. It is a very competitive league and it will set me up well for the future."
The Belgium youth international has yet to feature for Everton's first-team, having had his loan spell from Olympiakos turned into a permanent deal in the summer.
Millers boss Neil Redfearn is on the lookout for additions to his ailing squad as he tries to launch a resurrection in the Championship.
Several out-of-contract players have been training with the club this week, including Leon Best, who Redfearn is keen to strike a deal with.

“We’ve got to get on with it. We’ve got to crack on," he said.
