Millers duo recognised in teams of the week

Jonson Clarke-Harris and Grant Ward have both been rewarded for their impressive performances in Saturday's 3-0 win over Bristol City by being named in separate teams of the week.

Clarke-Harris grabbed the headlines with his two goals but it was Ward who earned special praise for his marauding performance on the right of midfield.

And both men have been recognised, with Clarke Harris named in the whoscored.com Championship team of the week, while Ward earned a place in the Football League team of the week.

Clarke-Harris earned a mega rating of 9.12 for his display against the Robins and is paired up front with former Miller and current Nottingham Forest striker Chris O'Grady.

Ward, whose whoscored.com rating of 7.27 was not enough to get him in their side, took his place on the right of midfield in the governing body's collective XI.

Boss Neil Redfearn, who extended Ward's loan until January last week, believes that the Tottenham midfielder was the best player on the pitch.

"I thought he was the stand-out player,” Redfearn said. “He’s got a turn of pace, and he’s got pace with and without the ball. He can run away from people and he deals with the ball in tight areas.”
