The first 45 minutes were a positive for the Millers but they were just unable to break the deadlock and were made to pay after the break.

the ball out of the back of the net three times.

Facey 6 – Looks solid in defence but the Millers need more from him
in attack.

Broadfoot 7 – A step down from his performance on Tuesday and was
done for the second goal.

Belaid 6 – Could arguably have had two goals in the first half, the
Tunisian was not as convincing in the second half.

Mattock 7 – Another reliable display from Mattock, who provided
some of the Millers' best moments in attack after the break.

Ward 6 – Not at his best for the Millers as he struggled to make use of the ball in good positions.

Smallwood 8 - The best Millers player with his dogged battling, he was the source of most of the attacks as well.
Paul
Green 7 – The much-maligned midfielder was Rotherham's most
industrious player before the break and hit the post. Faded after the restart.
Joe
Newell 6 – Another low-impact game from Newell, whose levels have
dropped from a month ago.
Matt
Derbyshire 6 – Should have buried the rebound from Green's shot
which hit the post. Not one of his better games.
Danny
Ward 6 – Struggled to make the impact he has done in recent weeks
and taken off before the hour.
Jonson
Clarke-Harris 6 – Came on for Danny Ward and put himself about but
arguably should have scored from Mattock's cross.
Emmanuel
Ledesma 5 – A late sub for Derbyshire, he had some good
opportunities but the end result was poor.
