Shay Facey worry for Rotherham as patch-up job begins for Brighton

Rotherham will assess their walking wounded as their prepare for Tuesday night's clash against Brighton, with Shay Facey an early concern.

The Millers return to action just 72 hours after an FA Cup defeat at Leeds on Saturday and they could do without such a quick turnaround given the depleted nature of their squad.

Those problems were accentuated on Saturday as Manchester City loanee Shay Facey was taken off at half-time at Elland Road after feeling a slight hamstring problem.

He was withdrawn as a precaution, with the intention of him being fit to face the Seagulls on Tuesday.

Boss Neil Redfearn said: "Shay had a tight hamstring so we took him off at half-time.

"What we can't afford to do is lose him because we haven't got anyone to replace him with so that was a precaution him coming off.

"It was a really heavy pitch and it took its toll so we have to rest the lads up. We'll have a light session on Monday and Tuesday and then get after Brighton."
