Burnley 2 Rotherham 0: Player ratings

Rotherham's 2-0 defeat at Burnley was their 20th of the season and left them six games without a win.

Although not expected to pick anything up from the clash at Turf Moor against a multi-million pound side chasing promotion, the Millers were never really in the game and carried little threat in attack.

Here's how the players rated, with a chance for you to add your own if you were one of the 644 travelling Millers.

Lee Camp 7 - As has been the case throughout the season, the Millers' margin of defeat would have been far more had it not been for a couple of impressive saves by Camp.

Greg Halford 7 - Starting his first game since August, Halford put in a dependable display at right-back before switching to centre-back. His Millers' rehabilitation is complete.

Kirk Broadfoot 6 - Marshalled a new-look back four well and won plenty of headers, but struggled with the pace of Andre Gray.

Lloyd Doyley 6 - Thrown in at the deep end against Gray and Sam Vokes, Doyley looked the part at centre-half, with the foul for the penalty the only blot on his copybook.

Frazer Richardson 7 - Asked to do a job at left-back, the 33-year-old equipped himself superbly and did not look out of place while putting in at least two goal-saving challenges.

Chris Burke 5 - A virtual by-stander in the first half and unable to get into the game, Burke was withdrawn at half-time.

Richie Smallwood 6 - We are still not seeing the best of Smallwood at the moment but he was his competitive and battling self.

Paul Green 6 - Another solid display from Green, though the partnership with Smallwood perhaps limits the Millers.

Joe Newell 5 - A passenger in the first half, Newell fluffed his lines to make the biggest of impacts in the second period when missing the golden chance to equalise.

Danny Ward 5 - Never recovered from a hefty challenge early on and did little before leaving the field with a possible concussion.

Jonson Clarke-Harris 4 - Displayed a visible lack of effort and inability to perform the basic of tasks, the Millers needed so much more from their record buy.

Grant Ward 7 - Brightened the Millers up considerably after coming on as a sub in the first half. He has legs, he has energy and he has pace.

Andrew Shinnie 5 - Brought on at half-time but did not show the quality on the ball like he did at Bolton a fortnight ago.

Leon Best 6 - Just getting him back out on the pitch is a triumph for the Millers. He didn't do too much when he came on but is going to be a big player in the next 14 games.
