Neil Warnock: We should be unbeaten in my reign

While most people of a Rotherham persuasion are purring at their magnificent eight-game unbeaten run, mastermind Neil Warnock is left wondering how they have been beaten at all in his reign.

Warnock has inspired a superb run of form over the last six weeks which has seen the Millers surge to safety in the Championship and won him accolades across the game.

Appointed on a 16-game SOS mission in February, the Millers could get the job done in 13 if they take care of business against Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield in the next seven days.

And that achievement is even more impressive given the first three games of Warnock's spell saw them earn one point and score no goals, drawing against Birmingham and losing to Burnley and Reading.

Although the Millers were a million miles away from the heights they have recently scaled in those defeats, Warnock is disappointed to have any presence in the L column.

"I was disappointed, I didn't think we should have lost to Reading or Burnley, so we'd have been undefeated now, wouldn't we?" Warnock said after the exceptional 4-0 win at MK Dons on Saturday.

"I am a little bit disappointed about that, an obvious penalty at Reading and a chance that Joe (Newell) will never miss again at Burnley.

"It just goes to show what you can do with a good group who want to listen. I think they are amazing themselves with the ability they have and what they can do with the ball.

"It's a lovely situation at the minute and you have got to enjoy it."
