Millers loanee Brandon Barker returns after France game called off

Rotherham loanee Brandon Barker will rejoin his team-mates on Monday after Saturday's England Under-20s game with France was postponed due to the Paris terrorists attack.

Barker was part of a 20-man squad who was in France for a double-header, with the second game due to take place in Ploufragan on the north-west coast.

However, the game was called off after Friday night's horrific events in the capital where over 120 people were gunned down.

The 19-year-old Manchester City winger played 23 minutes as a substitute in Wednesday's first clash in Brittany which Keith Downing's men lost 4-3.

Barker is expected back at Roundwood on Monday as Millers boss Neil Redfearn steps up preparations for Saturday's vital clash with Leeds at Elland Road.

He made his debut in last week's shocking 5-2 defeat to Ipswich, scoring the Millers' first goal in a man-of-the-match performance.
