But how did that goal, impressive as it was, compare to his
effort against Notts County?16:18:00
Former Rotherham loanee Haris Vuckic scores wonder goal for Newcastle
Former Rotherham loanee Haris Vuckic showcased his talent
with a wonder goal for Newcastle Under-21s in their friendly with Ajax.
The 22-year-old Slovenian, who scored four goals in 26
appearances on loan with the Millers in the memorable 2013/14 campaign, picked
the ball up, skinning his marker with his first touch, before beating three
more men and dinking home from inside the penalty area.
It’s not the first time Vuckic has showcased his ability to
run with the ball as he scored a solo effort for the Millers in their 6-0 rout over Notts County in 2014.
Despite a successful loan spell with Rangers last season and
a new manager to impress, Vuckic could be struggling for game time at Newcastle
this season if he has been sent on an Under-21s tour.
Could a loan move be on the cards and would he be welcome
back at the New York Stadium, after all it's clearly where he learned the skills required to score a goal like this.
