Rotherham's goal of the season so far - Your vote

There hasn't been too much for Rotherham to cheer about this season, with a grim first third of the campaign seeing them five points adrift of safety.

However, there have been some cracking goals scored along the way and the goal of the season competition is already looking strong.

But which one is your favourite? Here are the contenders and don't forget to vote below.

Jonson Clarke-Harris v Fulham

With the Millers 2-0 down and having just missed a penalty, they needed something special to try and haul themselves back into the game. And Jonson Clarke-Harris, enjoying a revival at the Millers, provided it. After Paul Green won the ball in Fulham's half, he found Clarke-Harris who advanced towards the edge of the area before curling a powerful shot into the bottom corner. It failed to provide a springboard and Ben Pringle's Fulham won it 3-1.

Grant Ward v Burnley

Having made a name for himself in pre-season with a number of spectacular goals, the Millers faithful were waiting to see Grant Ward do it for real in the league. Well he waited until their highest profile game - a Friday night televised clash with Burnley - to remind everyone of his talents with a special strike. Receiving the ball from Joe Mattock, Ward cut inside and unleashed a rocket that had England goalkeeper Tom Heaton grasping at thin air. It drew the Millers level at 1-1, but they conceded a second soon after so Ward's fine effort counted for nothing.

Joe Mattock v Brentford

The Millers were starting life under Neil Redfearn and found themselves a goal down at half-time, despite a promising performance. However, Joe Mattock came to the rescue less than a minute into the second half with a sublime solo goal. Taking a loose clearance on his chest, the left-back barged off a challenge from a defender, steadied himself before slicing an angled drive into the top corner from 25 yards. Their parity was again short-lived as Alan Judge scored his second soon after to give Brentford all three points.

Brandon Barker v Ipswich

There was little to cheer during the Millers' last outing against Ipswich as one of the worst performances in recent years saw them 4-0 down after 48 minutes. But there was one bright spark and that was debutant Brandon Barker. The Manchester City loanee started a mini-fightback and showed why he is so highly rated at his parent club. Receiving the ball from Clarke-Harris 25 yards out, he made space for himself and curled through a crowd of bodies into the top corner from the edge of the D. A bright moment in a dark afternoon.

Matt Derbyshire v Ipswich

For the briefest of spells the Millers threatened the unlikeliest of comebacks against the Tractor Boys as Matt Derbyshire followed Barker's stunner up with one of his own. The striker, having a poor season, had been non-existent for the Millers until he latched on to Grant Ward's throughball and hit a first-time powerful volley from the edge of the area that flew in to the top corner. There was to be no miraculous recovery, though, as Ipswich added a fifth.
