How life was when Rotherham and Fulham last met
Rotherham
meet Fulham for the first time in over 20 years on Tuesday.
Both
clubs have had differing fortunes over the last two decades, with the Millers -
two dalliances with second-tier football and a brand-spanking new stadium aside
- struggling in the lower reaches of the Football League and close to going out
of business on two occasions.
It
has been a contrasting story for the Cottagers who flourished under Mohammed
Al-Fayed's ownership, residing in the top-flight for 10 years and also reaching
the Europa League final in 2010.
Many
things have changed since that last meeting in Division Two on 30 April 1994.
The
Millers travelled down to Craven Cottage under the joint managership of Archie
Gemmill and John McGovern for their final away game of the season and went down
to a 1-0 defeat in west London, Sean Farrell's goal settling the match for
Ian Branfoot's men.
However,
that win was not enough to save the Cottagers from relegation as they slipped
into the bottom tier of the Football League, while the Millers finished 15th.
Plenty
of other things have changed since then, here's a look at how life was different back on
