Jonson Clarke-Harris was keen on the number nine shirt but might have to wait another year as he went from 29 to 19 while Matt Derbyshire (27) and Richie Smallwood (33) keep their favourite numbers.

Rotherham's 2015/16 squad numbers: What do they mean?
Rotherham have announced their squad numbers for
the 2015/16 season, but what can we decipher from them?
Well, one-time record signing Jordan Bowery has
lost the prized number 10 shirt to new arrival Emmanuel Ledesma, with
the former Aston Villa man taking on the 18 shirt which was left
vacant by Ben Pringle.
Boss Steve Evans has perhaps given his biggest
hint as to who will don the gloves against MK Dons by giving Kelle
Roos the number one shirt, with Adam Collin retaining 21 which he has
worn for the last two seasons.
There is plenty of expectation on Danny Ward this
season and that has been highlighted by him being handed the number
nine, a prized scalp for any striker.
Former Sheffield Wednesday man Chris Maguire
gets the vacant seven shirt, hinting he might be used in a wide role
rather than his favoured central striking position while Danny
Collins gets the number four shirt off Kari Arnason as Kirk Broadfoot
and Richard Wood retain five and six respectively.
New signings Lewis Buxton and Joe Mattock take two
and three respectively with midfielder Paul Green keeping on to his
number 11 shirt.
Jonson Clarke-Harris was keen on the number nine shirt but might have to wait another year as he went from 29 to 19 while Matt Derbyshire (27) and Richie Smallwood (33) keep their favourite numbers.
